Not many people in the village. It is very small.
The village is along the beach and spondylus route.
It is at the beginning of the mountain range "Chongon Colonche", a beautiful and verdant subtropical jungle. Across the mountains this Ayampe and in the center, to the sea is La Rinconada.
The entrance is a friendly town where people live, beaches remain calm almost all year.
You dont have hospital. But you can have one in Manglaralto (20 min south), or a small health center in Olon (15 min south)
