Playa San Lorenzo

San Lorenzo is located at a distance of 32 km from the city of Manta. Is the viewpoint of the lighthouse from where you can see the island of Plata.

It is a remote city beach; therefore it is quiet, away from the noise has become a favorite beach for tourists looking to live a time of family entertainment, where they find what they need for a pleasant stay. On this beach we find the Scandinavian lighthouse where you can obrservar Plata Island plus a lovely view; Here tourists and natives come to take photos and be a typical characteristic of this place and memory.

San Lorenzo Beach is one of the most crowded by tourists in the area with an area of 3 km. You can practice sports like surfing, very popular in all the coast of Ecuador.

It has an average temperature ranging between 25 and 29º C. They can spot various rock formations, caves, sea birds and the Isla de la Plata with its incredible display of humpback whales as they pass from north to south in the months of June September.

San Lorenzo Beach is also a protected area of 13545 hectares, you can enjoy ecotourism and appreciate unspoiled nature.
